The Guardians, tough space mercenaries that they are, are a bunch of misfits who need your leadership to sort through their emotional problems as often as they need you to plan strategy. Although you're embroiled in a mystery surrounding an ancient artefact called the Eternity Forge, many of your decisions actually relate to your team and their emotions. In this game, you mainly play as dashing rogue and team leader Peter "Star-Lord" Quill, although you will take control of his teammates at some points.
